Construction work continues at the Turgen HPP site in the Ak-Suu district. As of early April, 27 intermediate transmission line towers have been installed. At the same time, construction of the 35/10 kV “Novo-Voznesenovka” substation is underway. Currently, foundation preparation for the substation portal is in progress. Work at the site is ongoing as planned.

Construction progress has been achieved at several facilities of the small HPP cascade in the Turgun Gorge. Contractors have completed earthworks and monolithic work. Completed work: The construction of the small HPP cascade is proceeding according to the approved schedule. 

Large-scale works are underway at the cascade of small hydropower plants in the Turgen Gorge with doubled intensity. At present, the backfilling of the wall of the second settling tank block has been fully completed, ensuring increased structural stability. On the first settling tank block, flat gates—key elements for regulating water flows—have been successfully installed.

Reinforcement installation for concrete columns is ongoing at the SHPP-1 site. Simultaneously, earthworks are underway for the foundation of the head basin. All construction activities are being carried out in accordance with the approved production work plan.

On July 3, 2025, a contract was signed in Bishkek between Chon-Ak-Suu Hydro Energy and CINK Hydro-Energy for the supply of equipment for the small hydropower plant.
