Progress of Work at Small Hydroelectric Power Plant Construction Sites

An active phase of construction and installation work continues at the small hydroelectric power plant (SHPP) facilities in accordance with the approved production schedule.

SHPP-1 Block: Brick walling works have been completed. The construction crew has commenced roofing work, as well as the installation of window and door units for the building. At the 2nd-stage forebay site, the placement of the rebar cage has been completed, and wall structure concreting is underway.

SHPP-2 Site: The construction of the monolithic reinforced concrete frame below the “zero” mark has been fully completed. Specialists have proceeded with the rebar placement and concreting of load-bearing columns and floor slabs below the zero-cycle level of the SHPP building.

SHPP-3 Site: Earthworks for the excavation and preparation of the foundation pit are in progress. Work has commenced on the sand-and-gravel bedding and the concreting of the SHPP building foundation slab.

Electrical System and Substation Facilities:

SHPP-1 Substation: Installation and mounting of the main power transformer have been successfully completed in cooperation with the commissioning engineer from TBEA (China).

SHPP-2 Substation: Perimeter fencing construction is complete. Electrical engineers have started installing and mounting the main power equipment of the substation.

SHPP-3 Substation: Installation of the power transformer into its design position has been completed. Work is ongoing to construct the grounding loop and install busbars.

Diversion Canal Works: Preparation of the trench is underway, bringing the base to the design levels. Works include layer-by-layer compaction of ground sections, as well as backfilling and compaction of the crushed stone pillow for structural laying.
