Large-scale works are underway at the cascade of small hydropower plants in the Turgen Gorge with doubled intensity. At present, the backfilling of the wall of the second settling tank block has been fully completed, ensuring increased structural stability. On the first settling tank block, flat gates—key elements for regulating water flows—have been successfully installed. At the same time, active concrete laying continues to reinforce the channel of HPP-1, which will ensure the reliability and efficiency of the future energy infrastructure. These efforts significantly accelerate the implementation of the project aimed at strengthening the region’s energy independence.
