Cascades

SHPP 1

Capacity — 8.9 MW

Annual generation — 37,6 mln kWh

Elevation — 2525 m above sea level

The powerplant is located at the highest elevation of the three, at an altitude of 2,525 meters. This kind of arrangement results in a high-water head, which increases the power generation efficiency with minimal interference to the natural environment. It is the optimal solution for stable operation in pure mountain hydrology conditions.

SHPP 2

Capacity — 8.9 MW

Annual generation — 37,6 mln kWh

Elevation — 2318 m above sea level

The HPP is located at an average elevation of 2,318 meters. This position ensures a steady water flow and optimal conditions for all-the-year-around power generation. The project is integrated into the natural landscape, taking into account environmental safety and landscape harmony.

SHPP 3

Capacity — 8.9 MW

Annual generation — 37,6 mln kWh

Elevation — 2112 m above sea level

It is located at the lowest altitude among all the powerplants, which is 2112 meters. Nevertheless, the system is designed to provide stable pressure and uninterrupted generation. It is a reliable element of the overall cascade system, allowing to utilize the potential of the Turgen River in an effective way.

HYDROPOWER SYSTEM

The total capacity of a cascade amounts to 26.8 MW, which allows tens of millions of kilowatt-hours of clean power to be generated annually, reducing the burden on fossil energy sources.

A 9.7 km long diversion canal will be used to deliver water to the turbines, designed to take into account the natural topography, which minimizes interference with the environment.

The total difference in elevation is 620 meters, which achieves high efficiency with a compact and environmentally friendly infrastructure.
